A hétvégén, miután megszereztem a kis bárszekrénykét, próbáltam utánakeresni, hogy a stílusjegyei alapján milyen változtatásokat engedjek meg magamnak. Ekkor bukkantam a One Kings Lane útmutatójára. Itt rengeteg anyagot találhattok stílusról, dizájnerekről, bútorokról - igaz angolul.
Az oldal székek és egyéb ülőalkalmatosságok tekintetében igazi kincsesbánya, úgyhogy akit ezek a darabok érdekelnek, kötelező legalább egyszer ellátogatni ide. :)
Sajnos a szekrénykémhez nem nagyon találtam hasonlót, de hát ugye a Kelet-Európában a múlt században dívó stílusok nem túlzottan ismertek az újvilágban.
In the weekend after I got my new little toy (the small bar cabinet), I tried to look after what stylistic features it has to find alternative ideas for renovation. Then I found the Home Decor Resource Guide at One Kings Lane. There are plenty of styles, designers, eras so everyone can find material about furniture.
The site is a real goldmine if you are searching for chairs and other seating, so those who are interested in these pieces must visit the website at least once. :)
Unfortunately, I couldn't found any similar to my cabinet, but it is an Eastern European piece from the last century, so not very well known in the New World.
I think this is a mixture of Art Deco and Eastern European Mid-century/retro. I love its curves and the integrated lamp. The lamp has a shade as well, but I really hated its material (do not know what kind of, but very artificial), so I took it off. :) Oh by the way, my favorite thing is that little fringe on the handle.
